About Hidden Gem Chinatown Walking Tour

A walking day tour to the hidden gem, Chinatown has so much to offer visitors, be it history, culture, or architecture. Start your four-hour walking tour from our meeting point at the MRT Wat Mangkon Exit 3. Meet our guide and prep yourself for an eventful evening of Chinese cultural immersion.

Our first stop is the Charoen Chai district, where we learn about the popular joss papers, also known as fish papers, and try local snacks from the Chinese crowd. Exploring their uniqueness leads you to Baan Koa Roa Rueng, an old house turned into a museum for visitors of all descents. This engaging museum speaks volumes about Chinese architecture and style of living. Now brace yourselves to visit Wat Traimit, One of Thailand's most significant golden Buddha temples. This hidden beauty is a modest temple with sliding golden dome-like pagodas and magnificent idols.
